On mine it was just that it was displaying on the vga, and there was a setting in the bios to switch to another output. Once switched, I haven't had a problem.

Could be. I know there's no output on the onboard VGA -- but I'd expect that. Unfortunately, the layout of the connectors on the card plus the case I'm using means that it's physically impossible to connect the VGA cable without some "hardware modification". Ugh.

Presumably after it's booted once to VGA it will start to recognize the DVI port.

I'm wondering whether maybe I need to do a forced CMOS reset to get it to identify the card. Or if the card just went bad. Damn, I hate hardware.

I had a problem like this at first. I believe the problem ended up being that the graphics output was on one of the vga outputs, and I had my monitors connected to the hdmi outputs. You may want to try to hook up a monitor to the vga ports to each of the vga ports to see if one of them is active. After that, I believe there was some setting in the bios.

Apparently I'm the only person on the planet who can't get a graphics card to work with the AG880GZ! When I plug my Radeon HD4650 into the PCIe slot, I get no graphics output (so not even POST messages) from either card. I reset all the BIOS settings back to default in case I'd done something dumb, but no luck.

Am I missing something? It sounds like everybody else just threw their card in, rebooted, and was on their way. I'm *reasonably* sure the card is good as it was working in the system I pulled it out of (which, unfortunately, I can't put it back in because I cannibalized it for parts for another project...).
